I was original a nintendo guru the sony came along and i jumped the fence when the psp came on the scene, when the xbox 360 with its slick look and powerful technoligy came out i though that was it for me but after having mine for a while the horrible 3 red rings of death stuck and since my machine was modded i could not sent it in so having a go a repairing it myself i first tryied the towel trick which worked for a little while, then came the X-clamp mod and thermal grease replacement which seamed to do the trick untill now so i imbarked on extra cooling fans in the GPU heatsing and also a 6cm fan in the case. It worked like all the other methodes for a while but funny enough the 3rrod are back sometimes it seams the GPU chip just dosnt want to stay in place. i think i will be forced to put in a contro switch to cut the fans from cooling the chips and overheating them to resolder them back in again time after time. So it makes me ask who are the real PIRATES the humble modders trying to spice up there consoles or the big man MICROSOFT selling us these heaps of junk at inflated prices then charging more to fix them time and time again bleeding my poor pockets dry! If this keeps up any longer i will be broke only with a crap box for a pillow. microsfot should stick with developing software instead of soft systems and leave the real gaming to sony and nintendo if they want to buy int the billion dollar market buy the real game companies and leave them the way it was not the crap there are now the 1st xbox was better appart from being an oversize brick
